Meet the People Behind Your Popcorn

Hi, my name is Devaki. I go by (She/they). I started working at Popcorn for the People in October 2023. I usually take the role of bagging and sealing our popcorn, but I occasionally make popcorn, as well. In my spare time, I like to read: particularly mathematics and philosophy. I also like to draw, meditate, hike, and watch anime.

Most snack companies donate a percentage to a good cause. We took a different approach and made the good cause the whole company.

Every bag you buy creates real, paid employment for adults with autism. Fair wages, real hours, and the kind of steady career that changes a life, all made possible by people who love great popcorn.

Every 5000 bags funds 1 job for a year.
